Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association Student-Athlete Scholarship
Mass Youth Soccer has established a Scholarship Program for High School seniors who are planning to attend a post-secondary educational institution. The scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female High School senior. To be eligible for this scholarship the student athlete must have been associated with Mass Youth Soccer for at least the past two (2) years. Once the Mass Youth Soccer office receives all applications by the Submission Deadline of May 1, 2012, they will select the best-qualified applicant based upon the required written application and the 500 word essay. The amount of the scholarships is currently indefinite as it will depend on fund raising efforts; however the goal is to have each scholarship amount to $1,000.00. The scholarship will be paid to each recipient after they have completed a full semester. It will be paid by a check made payable to the recipient and mailed to their home address listed on the scholarship application.

Steve Koerper Scholarship
Steve Koerper was the 4th president of Massachusetts Youth Soccer. During the time he served, Steve was instrumental in the growth and development of the Association. He was the driving force behind finding a permanent home for Mass Youth Soccer which has ultimately led to our field complex, Citizens Bank Fields at Progin Park. Steve passed away in 1998, well before his time.
The Koerper Scholarship fund was created as a testament to Steve's dedication and commitment to each individual member. The fund is designed to assist those families who, due to financial hardship, need help in paying the annual dues required by the cities and towns for participation in their respective programs.
