MASS YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION, INC.

Constitution, By-laws, Policies, Procedures and Regulations and Program Description

Dear Members,
After many years of making small edits to our constitution and bylaws, we at Mass Youth Soccer realized that we needed to engage in a thorough and comprehensive review of these documents. Over the past 5 months a committee has worked to review and update all areas of these documents in a way that would improve clarity and resemble documents that better reflect modern business practice and operation. Please find the attached documents which are the results of our work. The overwhelming majority of changes involve reorganization and simplification of information, as opposed to operational changes. We attach the suggested documents with this letter in hopes you will read through our new documents before the Mass Youth Soccer AGM on March 5th so these changes can be approved.
Thank you for your attention to this document and your continued work to help all the players and coaches in Massachusetts,
Mass Youth Soccer Constitutional Review Committee

ORGANIZING AND GOVERNING YOUR YOUTH SOCCER ORGANIZATION

Each year youth soccer organizations should perform a routine audit of its governing and operating practices and procedures to ensure the organization is in compliance with all the many rules and regulations as well as to ensure your published documents are consistent with current practices.  At times programs can get caught up in the urgencies of its day to day operations. We all need to take a step back to make certain the organization is operating within the defined guidelines.

This section will provide samples of various documents as well as various rulings and procedures of which you should be aware.
